Mesabi Metallics is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer who will support the engineering team in the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects with a focus on environmental sustainability and tailings basin management. This role involves assisting with technical analysis, project planning, and compliance with environmental regulations to ensure safe and effective operations.
The Coordinator – Tribal Relations and Community Engagement is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Indigenous communities impacted by mining operations. This role focuses on ensuring meaningful engagement, respecting Indigenous rights, and fostering collaboration between the company and local communities.
The Coordinator – Warehouse is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment used in mining operations. This role includes managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Mesabi Metallics is looking for an Electrical Engineer that will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment for mining and plant operations. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical issues, and overseeing electrical projects from conception through to completion. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with other engineering disciplines, maintenance teams, and contractors to support operational goals and compliance with industry standards.

Mesabi Metallics is looking for a Human Resource Generalist to join our team in our Nashwauk office. The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for various functions of the Human Resource department, including talent, compensation, benefits, leave, reporting, and administration of company policies.
As a Network Support Specialist, your role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the organization’s network infrastructure.
Reporting to the Chief Green Officer, the Manager – Civil Engineering will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee the design, logistics, and construction or repair of civil infrastructure projects.
- Lead and manage the civil engineering team including senior and junior level civil engineers and civil construction technicians.
- Lead and manage the tailings basin maintenance team.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and practices are observed.
- Responsible for a safe work environment for the team and closely coordinate with the Safety Manager.
- Manage the operation and maintenance of internal roads, utilities, stormwater systems, and other related infrastructure.
The Manager – Pellet Plant will oversee pellet plant operations and maintenance, ensuring world class performance in safety, quality, and production. This position involves managing a team, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and working with other departments to meet production goals and adhere to environmental and regulatory standards.
Mesabi Metallics is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining, and improving mechanical systems and equipment used in our processing facilities. This role involves working on various aspects of the processing plant, from ore handling and crushing to beneficiation and pelletizing. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with hands-on experience to ensure efficient and reliable plant operations.
Mesabi Metallics is looking for a highly motivated individual with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining, Geological, or Civil Engineering and 1-2 years of experience in a technical role in a Mining environment. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of all facets of the mining industry, including measurement and operations safety management and environmental regulations.
